New Supplier Showcase
ASI’s New Supplier Showcase (NSS) is a weekly showcase featured in the Product Hub on ASI Central and a weekly editorial newsletter PromoGram. This showcase is an opportunity for new suppliers to spotlight their products for free. The NSS is updated weekly by the editorial team, with all copy is written by the copywriting department. I write all product description and titles for the showcases, while closely working with the production team to make sure the proper products and images are run during their assigned months. This is continuous through the year.
From Point A —> TO Point B
This weekly article features 6-10 new suppliers and a featured product of their choice. It requires the coordination of 3 different departments (Production, Marketing Copywriting, and Editorial)
At the beginning of each month the production team creates a folder, with a set of 30-40 images and an excel sheet listing each of the suppliers and links to their products in our ESP system. This spreadsheet also notes any requests or copy notes the suppliers have.
I then separate the images evenly into 4 subfolders, dating them based on each Monday in the month.
A copy doc is created one week before the publishing date, where I create copy blocks for each product, listing the supplier, their unique supplier number, product title, and a short description.
Once this doc is titled, I send it over to our proofer who returns the doc within one working day.
Once the copy doc is proofed, I send the doc and all the corresponding images over to the editorial team, who then publishes the article in the upcoming PromoGram edition.
